Post-Production
Editorial, colour, sound, VFX, and finishing to deliver polished stories across broadcast and digital platforms.
Capabilities
Editorial, colour, sound, VFX, and finishing combine to deliver coherent, polished stories. We keep projects organised, feedback clear, and deliverables correct the first time.
Editing
Editorial pipeline
Assembly, paper edits, fine cuts, and versioning. We maintain a tidy project structure for swift revisions and handovers, with bins and timelines named consistently and media tracked carefully.
We start with selects and structure, then move to pacing and narrative clarity. Placeholders are used where necessary, and graphics and music are introduced gradually to avoid locking choices too early. Review cuts are exported with timecode burn-ins to make comments unambiguous.
Colour Grading
Look and matching
Look development, shot matching, and finishing with broadcast-safe checks. We deliver consistent colour across SDR and HDR workflows, validating against scopes and technical specs.
We manage colour spaces and gamma carefully—from camera originals through to delivery. Grading sessions begin with look proposals, then we balance scenes, fix consistency issues, and refine skin tones. For mixed-source content, we neutralise differences to preserve continuity.
Sound
Mix and polish
Dialogue edit, noise reduction, sound design, music licences, and final mixes. Loudness standards applied for platform compliance.
We remove hums and hits, balance dialogue against ambience, and layer sound effects subtly to enhance realism. Music is licensed appropriately, and stems are managed for flexibility. Final mixes are compliant with platform loudness rules, so playback is consistent.
VFX & Graphics
Composites and titles
Compositing, clean-ups, motion graphics, titling, and end slates. Templates enable ongoing updates with minimal friction.
We design titles and slates that adhere to brand guidelines. Graphics are tested for readability across devices. Where shots need cleanup, we approach them pragmatically, fixing what matters to the story first. VFX options are offered with cost and time implications clearly stated.
Delivery
Mastering & outputs
Broadcast masters, web deliverables, and versions with correct specs and naming.
We master to agreed specifications and provide sensible file naming and metadata so future updates are straightforward. Deliverables include textless elements and split audio where useful, and we retain project archives for a defined period.
Subtitles & Access
Captions & description
Subtitles, transcripts, and audio description prepared to accessibility standards.
We prepare captions and transcripts aligned to style and accuracy requirements, and deliver audio description where needed. Accessibility is treated as integral to the production, not as an afterthought, so content reaches the widest possible audience.
Workflow
We coordinate editorial and finishing so your deliverables are correct the first time. Every stage has checks to keep quality high and approvals efficient.
Ingest & Conform
Organise & verify
Media verified, organised, transcoded, and conformed ready for editorial.
We ingest media from camera originals or transcodes, conform timelines, and reconcile colour management settings. Audio is synced and organised, with naming conventions applied to avoid confusion in later stages.
Where projects combine multiple camera types, we test colour pipelines and LUTs to ensure consistency. Editorial proxies are generated to accelerate cutting without compromising later finishing.
Review & Feedback
Timecoded reviews
Secure links, precise comments, and tracked rounds keep progress flowing.
Secure review links with timecoded comments. Rounds of feedback are scheduled and tracked to maintain momentum. We keep feedback focused—what to change, why, and by when—so revisions are productive.
We provide side-by-side comparisons when helpful and maintain a simple change log. Stakeholders can review on desktop or mobile, with controls that make comments precise.
Quality Control
Checks & validation
Audio loudness, colour, graphics, subtitles, and legal reviewed before sign-off.
Tech QC, graphics checks, spelling, and onscreen compliance. We validate formats, codecs, and loudness ahead of delivery. We also review legal names, titles, and brand elements for accuracy.
Final checks include colour gamut validation, audio peak and integrated loudness, and subtitle timing. We ensure content meets platform rules to avoid rejection.
Delivery & Archive
Masters & storage
Masters and versions exported to spec, named, and archived for retrieval.
Final masters and versions exported with naming conventions and metadata. We archive projects and provide retrieval on request. Archive includes project files, graphics sources, and documentation, so future updates are straightforward.
We can produce preservation masters and compressed distribution versions, with guidance on upload settings and optimal platform parameters.
Graphics & Titles
Motion & templates
Composites, motion graphics, and templates for consistent future updates.
We design titles and slates aligned to brand guidelines, and build templates so future updates are fast and consistent. Graphics are checked for readability across devices.
Access & Subtitles
Captions & transcripts
Subtitles and transcripts prepared to accessibility standards with clear styling.
We prepare captions and transcripts aligned to style and accuracy requirements, and deliver audio description where needed, so content reaches the widest possible audience.
Accessibility
We advocate for accessible content. Subtitles and captions are prepared with readable styling and appropriate positioning. Where feasible, we provide transcripts and audio description options. Graphics are designed with colour contrast in mind, and text elements are checked for legibility.
Security and Privacy
We protect sensitive content throughout the post chain. Access is restricted on a need-to-know basis. Files are stored securely, transfers are encrypted, and review links are controlled. We operate sensible policies aligned with UK data protection law and your organisational standards.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which edit platforms do you use?
We cut mainly in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, and grade in DaVinci Resolve. If you have an in-house pipeline we can mirror it to keep turnover and reversioning straightforward.
Can you localise content for multiple regions?
Yes. We prepare timed captions, translated graphics, alternate VO tracks, and version-specific masters. We also supply language asset sheets so future updates stay consistent.
How do you protect rushes and project files?
Media is stored on encrypted RAID with mirrored off-site backups. Transfers use secure portals with watermarking and expiring links, and access is granted only to named stakeholders.
Do you offer quality control before delivery?
Every master is QC’d against broadcast or platform specs, including loudness, colour gamut, captions, and metadata. We issue a handover report so delivery teams can sign off quickly.
What happens if we need revisions after sign-off?
We archive timelines and assets for at least twelve months. Late tweaks or new cutdowns can be produced rapidly because grades, mixes, and graphics are version-controlled.
